Description

Bioanalytical techniques is a practical module for MSc Biological and Bioprocess Engineering students that introduces the students to laboratory skills relevant to biological engineering. The main objectives of this module are: a) To impart practical training through experimental studies of some of the basic laboratory chemical, biochemical, biological and engineering principles; b) To develop skills for collecting and interpreting data with reference to a particular scientific principle and draw conclusions. In addition, collecting and reviewing literature concerning a particular experiment is also an essential objective of this module. The module also gives the opportunity to develop critical thought in constructing laboratory based experiments.
